C G Roxanne bottled water

I worked here in ~ the summer of 2003.  They make (blow mold) their own bottles, sanitize, bottle, label, pack, and distribute all in one location.  They produce multiple brands of water, and ship all over the country.

Their water is delicious, comes from a natural spring less than 1/4 mile from their facility, and their in-house filtration system is amazing.  I drove the fork truck, worked on the production line, filled outgoing distribution trucks, and assisted in almost every other activity associated with the facility.   Basically, I REALLY got my hands wet and learned the ins and outs of the business all in a period of 2-3 months.

This was my first experience in the exciting world of production and shipping which lit my operations management flame.

This is the Breezehouse (by BluHomes in Waltham, MA), which is one of my favorites. It is suave, elegant, and modern; has an open layout, and I can just picture building it on a ledge overlooking a beautiful lake, ocean, or mountain range.

BluHomes has an awesome business idea, and a truly fantastic team who I recently met at their open house at their amazing production facility in East Longmeadow, MA. They are creating a diverse and exciting product line to suit every user which I will dedicate many future blog posts to.
